Responsibilities include:
- Develop manufacturing processes for new products
- Optimize existing manufacturing processes and equipment
- Research and stay up to date with the latest plastic processing technology
- Investigate new developments with materials to ensure we are using the most environmentally sustainable and cost-effective resins
- Manage manufacturing trials for new products being introduced into production
- Create work instructions and implement standardizations into the manufacturing process
- Identify areas of improvement and lead continuous improvement projects to upgrade KPI metrics
- Perform root cause analysis to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement a corrective actions
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field such as plastic or polymer science etc.
- Plastics Manufacturing experience such as injection molding, thermoforming, extrusion etc.
- Project Management skills and experience
- Proven problem solving skills
- Hands-on with strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
