In this role you will : Oversee the daily operations of the Vendor Managed Inventory service, working closely with customer team members to provide site support, address program needs, and facilitate orders for consumable inventory.Utilize Ariba and Inventory Manager software to monitor, track, and optimize inventory processes, ensuring the smooth execution of the program.Collaborate with key team members to manage slow-moving or dead stock, remove obsolete materials, and introduce new items to the program as needed.Conduct expiry checks and notify the customer of approaching expiration dates, providing recommendations for replacement.Ensure the timely delivery of incoming stockroom packages to the designated stockroom area.Travel twice a week to Frederick and Boulder facilities to carry out inventory management responsibilities and ensure consistency across locations.Use Inventory Manager software and technology to place daily orders and replenish materials, maintaining product levels at the agreed-upon "par" levels to reduce the risk of stockouts.Disclaimer : The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
