Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector who is eager to learn and grow into a lead AS9100 inspector and quality systems expert. This hands-on role will support quality assurance across our operations, working closely with production, engineering, and leadership to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final inspections on composite components and assemblies
- Interpret and apply customer and internal specifications, drawings, and standards
- Document non-conformances and support root cause and corrective action efforts
- Maintain and improve quality records, checklists, and inspection plans
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support first article and in-process verifications
- Support continuous improvement efforts and internal audits
- Learn and eventually lead the administration of AS9100 quality management systems, procedures, and documentation
- Grow into the lead liaison for audits, certifications, and customer quality engagements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school education preferred
- 1–3 years of quality inspection experience (aerospace or manufacturing environment preferred)
- Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001, or other regulated quality systems is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Desire to grow into a leadership role in quality and compliance
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and support a dynamic team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
