We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our customer base within a designated territory. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in customer service, account management, and business development, with a proven ability to drive sales through effective territory management. You will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction while promoting our products and services.
Duties
- Work closely with the VP Sales and Area Sales Manager to create interest in your territory and close sales with leads from trade shows, SEO, Manage and dinner events.
- Develop relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of our offerings.
- Execute strategic territory management plans to maximize sales potential within your assigned area.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve overall business objectives and targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Utilize software tools for tracking sales activities, managing accounts, and reporting on performance metrics.
- Engage in both outside sales activities, including client visits, and inside sales efforts through phone and email communication.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales progress.
Experience
- Proven experience in territory management or outside sales is essential.
- Strong background in account management with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Demonstrated ability in business development, showcasing a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in using software tools for managing customer relationships and tracking sales activities.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer service.
- Experience conducting product demos is preferred but not required.
