GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Data Capture Analyst is responsible for collaborating with the support, sales, and engineering teams to define customers' project requirements and to create and refine our text-mining algorithms and document handling solutions. DCAs also use machine learning and artificial intelligence to automate and optimize manual document processing tasks.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write and update regular expression rules to identify information of interest from text extracted from images
- Analyze the effectiveness of in-progress solutions using dashboards and other reports and provide statistics to colleagues
- Collaborate with customers and our implementation and support staff to design data capture solutions
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Bachelor's or greater in Engineering, Math, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, MIS/CIS, Informatics, or another science-related field, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
- People who consider themselves “competitive problem solvers” are most successful in this role
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
- Experience with AI and/or Machine Learning
- Experience with regular expressions or pattern matching constructs
- Experience with F# programming language is a plus
