Position Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated Process Engineer to focus on the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing and packaging processes in our new state-of-the art starchless gummy manufacturing facility in Haslet, TX. This role involves applying engineering principles to ensure efficient production, enhance product quality, and drive cost-effective operations.
Responsibilities :
Your primary activities will include but are not limited to :
- Develop and optimize manufacturing and packaging processes, improve material flow, and OEE.
- Develop and maintain labor standards and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Engineer and implement manufacturing strategies, developing robust process control strategies.
- Implement solutions and best practices to improve and maintain product quality.
- Achieve cost savings by reducing costs in materials, labor, and overhead.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive process improvements.
- Manage equipment selection, modification, procurement, installation, and start-up processes.
- Develop a knowledge management system to capture standard work and best practices
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across the supply chain.
Qualifications :
Youll need the following (minimum qualifications) :
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and / or education.
