Summary :

General responsibility for the installation, 24 / 7, day-to-day operation, maintenance, and modification of all Vytalogy site systems. This position is also responsible for repairs, troubleshooting, corrective (repair / unplanned / modification) and preventative (planned) maintenance of associated systems and equipment. The technician must be able to work both independently and as a team member. Considerable independent judgment and initiative is required to solve challenging or complex issues. Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned

Responsibilities :

Your primary activities will include but are not limited to :

• Assist to resolve day-to-day problems of the production lines and ensures equipment and machinery compliance with production procedures and process specifications
• Repairs and maintains production equipment, machinery, or instruments to ensure that it functions reliably and complies with process specifications.
• Troubleshooting of 24 volt control sytems, PLC, and VFDs
• Repairs and Maintains 220 volt and 480 volt conveyer systems
• Responds to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions etc. to minimize disruptions to manufacturing processes.
• Manage and optimize Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Programs including systematically defining, developing, monitoring, and refining the preventive / predictive maintenance process in pursuit of optimization.
• Maintains maintenance records (CMMS) so that recurring problems can be identified and addressed.
• Develop and implement changes to equipment maintenance plans based on failure modes, historical data, reliability principles and best practices with the oversight and approval of Supervisor.
• Help develop short and long-term continuous improvement plans to mitigate equipment failures.
• Help Design maintenance SOPs, to enable employees to perform maintenance tasks and minor repairs.
• Inspects exterior building and roof, doing minor repairs throughout the site.
• Inspects building equipment such as fire extinguishers, ladders, forklifts, and notifies supervisor of any recommendations or concerns
• Responds to repair requests in a timely manner and completes damage reports as observed during maintenance and daily activities
• Makes timely recommendations for facilities upgrades, modifications, and repairs not within the scope of the above listed items or not within the scope of the individuals capabilities
• Complete assigned work orders requested by different departments
• Provide support to equipment maintenance as and when required
• Maintains safe work environment and follows safety policy and procedures to accomplish daily task, maintain cGMP inside plant
• Use appropriate PPE as required for each particular task; be safety conscious for themselves and people around them

A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly range for this position is $28.00 to $34.00. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and / or education.
