Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, processing, transporting, and storing materials in a safe and efficient manner. Compliance with all Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), SOPs, and Safety Procedures is essential.
- Performs all shipping and receiving functions designated for each area.
- Documents and maintains tracking records, maintenance logs, and damage reports.
- Assists in inventory control and building maintenance, keeping areas clean and organized as necessary.
- Prompts report material, process, and equipment concerns, questions, and/or problems for further direction.
- Performs accurate manipulation & delivery of palletized goods and drums within safety guidelines without damage to personnel, goods, facility, or equipment.
- Operates a forklift in compliance with safety guidelines.
- Follows established department SOP's, cGMP regulations, and batch record instructions.
- Returns items to their proper locations.
- Participates in monthly SOPs, Safety, and cGMP guidelines trainings.
- Greets and checks in delivery trucks.
- Receives and tracks shipments.
- Embarks merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools.
- Tags and labels merchandise.
- LABELS AND STOCKPILES MERCHANDISE ACCORDINGLY.
- Boxes, wraps, and packs merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards.
- Prepares orders for shipment as requested.
- Records and manages all impaired or damaged merchandise items.
- Performs other duties, job-related or otherwise, as assigned.
Qualifications:
A minimum of the following qualifications are required:
- Prior experience as a Warehouse Associate for 1-2 years.
- Knowledgeable with inventory and logistics software programs.
- Great physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs., climb step-up ladders, and perform constant motions of scooping, wiping, raising of arms, bending, and kneeling if needed.
- Ability to be exposed to nutraceutical raw materials and powders which may include allergen-related items.
- Ability to comprehend basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
