Our Haslet, TX facility is a cutting-edge gummy manufacturing plant, and we’re looking for an HR Generalist to lead human resources on-site—ensuring a positive, productive, and high-performing work environment.
Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for coordination and supervision of the maintenance of facilities operations at the site.
Your primary activities will include but are not limited to:
- Supervise daily operations of the Facilities Maintenance department, including task delegation, performance management, and hiring.
- Train, guide, and support team members while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of facility systems, including HVAC, dehumidification, compressed air, boilers, dust collectors, and refrigeration equipment.
- Coordinate and monitor maintenance and repairs performed by third-party vendors and contractors.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, storing equipment and supplies, and disposing of obsolete items.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and machine breakdowns; troubleshoot and repair facility equipment as needed.
- Lead the implementation of safety programs and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and compliance with cGMP standards.
- Schedule and assign maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion of work and optimal equipment performance.
- Maintain accurate records including maintenance logs, time sheets, service reports, and inventory documentation.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to proactively identify maintenance needs and ensure repair quality.
- Manage waste and recycling disposal programs in accordance with environmental and company standards.
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies and apply best practices to improve department efficiency.
- Promote and ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and proper use of PPE.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
You’ll need the following (minimum qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of supervisory and maintenance experience (manufacturing preferred).
- HVAC Refrigerant or Boiler/Steam Operator Certification (preferred).
- Experience in FDA-regulated, food, or pharmaceutical environments (preferred).
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, and safety protocols.
- Skilled in facility maintenance tools, methods, and equipment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work independently and lead teams effectively.
- Proficient in prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining records.
- Familiar with operating forklifts, pallet jacks, lifts, and hand tools.
- Adaptable, safety-conscious, and professional in all interactions
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $85K to $125K. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
