Position: Field Sales Representative (Eagle Ford)
Location: La Vernia, Texas
This position will be based out of La Vernia, TX and will report directly to Mark McIntyre - Director of Sales & Marketing. Only persons who actually live within the sales territory will be considered for this position.
The Sales Representative will be expected to actively seek out and develop relationships with appropriate "buyers" & "influencers" within the South Texas geography, in order to generate expected revenues with respect to the TitanLiner product line.
VZT's customers will need to be developed from many different segments of the Upstream and Midstream O&G industry. Therefore, the Sales Representative will need to be able network within these various segments in order to identify the buyer or buyers within these organizations. He or she will be expected to utilize contacts and relationships developed from previous roles in their career to augment the process describe above.
The successful candidate will exhibit a 24/7 "customer service" attitude with respect to all external and internal customers and generate relationships that encourage "repeat" business.
Responsibilities:
- The generation of revenues in line with company financial goals
- The gathering and reporting of industry, customer, and competitive intelligence
- The generation of "total market", TitanLiner market" and "competitor market" to be reported to management on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
- Present a "customer service" attitude at all times with clients, co-workers, and management
- Call on customers in all environments. (field locations, and field/business/corporate offices)
- Reporting and conducting "damage control" as related to all job problems
- The negotiation of all "job problem" related billing disputes
- After hours entertainment of customers including: dinners, golf outings, sporting event, etc.
- The management and reporting of business-related expenses to management on a monthly basis
- Travel to where our customers do business. The general territory consists of the oil and gas fields in South Texas.
- The development of a good working relationship with Operations counterparts
