We are Growing! Experienced HVAC Technician Opportunity
W.B Guimarin & Co. Inc. currently has an opportunity for a experienced Commercial HVAC TECHNICIAN in the Charleston, SC area. We are looking for energetic, knowledgeable, and customer-focused HVAC Technician who has been working in the field and is a seasoned HVAC Technician - we have a place for you.
What you will do
Perform troubleshooting and service operations on various HVAC systems to diagnose problems or possible issues and perform preventative maintenance to customers’ HVAC systems to include :
- Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment.
- Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution.
- Join pipes or tubing to equipment and to fuel, water, or refrigerant source, to form complete circuit.
- Reassemble and test equipment following repairs.
- Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
- Layout and connect electrical wiring between controls and equipment, according to wiring diagrams, using electrician's hand tools.
- Install, connect, and adjust thermostats, humidistats and timers, using hand tools.
- Obtain and maintain required certifications.
- Ability to identify basic trade materials by size, shape and function.
- Able to safely use small power tools and hand tools.
- Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions.
