Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate and direct activities for receiving, loading and Furniture & Supply delivery.- Work with the Branch Manager and Regional Distribution Manager in formulating and executing organizational policies and continuous improvement efforts.
- Warehouse/Delivery performance including safety, customer service, operating expense and resource allocation.
- Drive positive employee relations based on strong communication and interpersonal relations.
- Establish fair but firm accountability.
- Develop, drive and support a high performance team.
- Plan, assign & direct employee work load.
- Establish operational procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Management & people development skills.- Intermediate computer skills
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to “think on your” feet in a fast paced environment.
- Strong desire to advance within a rapidly growing company.
Education and/or Experience
- Minimum 2 years of management experience preferred.
