Overview
Assists Receiving Supervisor with work flow and follow up during assigned shift.
Starting Rate: $18/hr
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain professional attitude and set example for all department members
- Ensure policy and procedure compliance in a fair and consistent manner
- Communicate with employees regarding assignments and questions
- Train new employees
- Report any issues or concerns to Receiving Supervisor
- Off-load stock merchandise from delivery trailers
- Reads customer order to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
- Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
- Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed
- Drives vehicles (forklift & pallet jack) to transport items within the warehouse
- Prepares parcels for mailing
- Put stock location away in appropriate place
- Performs dropdowns to keep items to be picked at eye-level
- Other duties as assigned

- Demonstrated good work performance in current role
- Ability to “think on your feet” in a fast paced environment
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to lead by example
- Able to communicate effectively with shift employees and to converse, read & write in English
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma
- One to two years related warehouse experience preferred
