The Regional Sales Account Manager plays a pivotal role in business development department by handling various tasks such as developing and supporting relationships with current and prospective clients. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and face to face meetings with current and prospective clients to promote our products and services The Regional Sales Account Manager must have previous experience in business development, sales, or related field in a fast-paced organization.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Developing and supporting relationships with current clients.
- Attending industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and to make meaningful contact with existing customers.
- Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential contracts.
- Prospect, identify and generate new opportunities via cold calling, email, phone, LinkedIn, etc. to build a pipeline of targeted prospects to grow our client list.
- Manage relationships while navigating multiple decision-makers.
- Generate and submit sales reports to management.
- Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic.
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience and Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in business development or sales (minimum 2 years).
- Pervious industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity of company documents and information.
- Proficiency in navigating technology, including Microsoft, CRM software, and sales management tools.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in account management and sales, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively engage with clients
- Familiarity with technology sales and the ability to convey technical information clearly
- Proficiency in warm calling techniques to drive sales growth
- Willingness to travel within the region as needed
- Valid drivers license and clean abstract
