Your Impact
As a Project Superintendent, you will pilot all jobsite activities. You will partner with the Project Manager to steer our team to success. Some of the ways you will apply thoughtful leadership to this role:
You will supervise the planning and execution of all jobsite activities, including site logistics plans, quality control plans, and site safety programs.
You will set the standard by developing and maintaining schedules.
You will coordinate and manage vital field operations such as reporting, inspections and testing, material deliveries and subcontractor activities.
You will supervise and mentor field staff, as well as foster strong relationships with all subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
Job Specifications
Building Operations – has a range of experience in field operations and construction means and methods, including project scheduling, management of subcontractors, and project closeout
Coordination – Has the ability to plan and effectively coordinate complex projects with many subcontractors
Has knowledge of the means and methods for a wide variety of building systems and construction types
Safety – Is competent in the management of all major construction hazards through training and experience
Has the ability to effectively identify hazardous conditions and unsafe acts or practices
Financial Understanding – understands project cost reporting systems, and can use them to understand the financial status of a project
A minimum number of 15 years of total experience, with at least 5 years’ experience running projects as a superintendent
Experience should be in large commercial construction with a project size of $10 million to $50 million
Basic computer skills are necessary (Windows, Excel, P6, Word, etc.)
Interpersonal skills – ability to engage with business partners and team members in a constructive, productive way to overcome obstacles and achieve results
