What are the responsibilities and job description for the Success Coach - Employer Resource Network position at W.E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research?
The Upjohn Institute is seeking a talented Success Coach. The Success Coach provides a variety of services to both employers and employees affiliated with the Southwest Michigan Employer Resource Network. This role primarily focuses on supporting employees in maintaining employment and overcoming barriers to their success. The Success Coach will collaborate with participating companies, conduct employee needs assessments, and provide the necessary resources to help employees thrive. The individual in this role will access available tools, training, and community resources to support employees’ needs. They will develop strategies to increase the visibility and utilization of program services, as well as promote available services and resources to recruit employees into the program. Responsibilities also include case file documentation and reporting requirements.
This is a full-time exempt position requiring on-site work at participating company locations in Kalamazoo and the surrounding four-county service area of Michigan Works! Southwest. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday with the opportunity for flexible work hours based on the needs of partner organizations.
A bachelor’s degree or a minimum of three years of relevant work experience is required. To thrive in this role, experience in the employment field, non-profit sector, or with case management is preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required.
Reliable transportation is required for occasional travel within the four-county service area of Kalamazoo, Calhoun, Branch, and St. Joseph counties.
