Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Lineman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and utility work, with the ability to operate in various environments including construction sites. This role involves working with high voltage systems and ensuring safety standards are met while executing tasks related to line installation and maintenance.
Journeyman Lineman Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical power lines and related equipment.
- Erect, frame and replace poles
- Climb poles and towers as necessary to conduct repairs or installations.
- Operate rigging equipment for lifting heavy materials safely.
- Have a CDL and be available to travel
- Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in the training of apprentices and less experienced staff.
Journeyman Lineman Experience
- High School Diploma
- Journeyman card holder through the Department of Labor.
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Lineman or in a similar role within the electrical field.
- Strong understanding of high voltage systems and safety regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in both team settings and independently.
- Must possess physical stamina and the ability to work at heights.
- CDL
- Travel required
- Possess the tenacity to care for equipment, learn, work hard and be punctual.
Journeyman Lineman receive a weekly per diem.
