Overview
WHA Insurance is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with the Account Executive to provide knowledgeable and professional account manager services. The ideal candidate is personable and committed to providing an exceptional customer experience.
Essential Duties
- Provide day-to-day customer service on assigned accounts
- Answers calls from clients, prospects, and carriers reliably and professionally
- Markets new and renewal accounts to appropriate carriers to receive quotes
- Review quotes, policies, and endorsements for accuracy and completeness
- Process policy renewals and issue certifications
- Prepare sales information for customers such as proposals and policy summaries
- General account maintenance and data management

Qualifications
- Previous account management experience in employee benefits is preferred
- Familiarity with insurance documentation, endorsements, and claims processes
- Excellent phone and email etiquette
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and insurance-related software applications; AMS360 experience preferred
- Valid Life & Health license or willing to obtain one within 30 days of hire
- High school diploma or equivalent required
