Landscape Maintenance Account Manager
WH Boyer, Inc. Landscape Services has a career opportunity available for an experienced, success-driven Account Manager. We are a well-established 65-year-old award-winning landscape installation contractor with big growth plans in our newly established Commercial Maintenance division. We are in search of a Commercial Maintenance Account Manager to share in the success of this growing division. Potential for promotion to Maintenance Division Manager after 12 months.
You will be part of an award-winning team that builds and maintains outdoor landscapes for clientele all over the DMV. Your responsibility will be to oversee the Commercial Maintenance Portfolio values at $ 750,000.00. You will be the primary point of contact between the client and W.H. Boyer as well as overseeing the field operations for the Commercial Maintenance team.
Responsibilities:
Operate and demonstrate a safe working manner.
· Be the primary point of contact for our clients.
· Oversee day to day field operations of the maintenance crews.
· Create and manage an effective and efficient schedule.
- Ensure crews have proper equipment and ensure that equipment is properly
maintained by coordinating with our onsite full-service repair shop.
· Perform quality control checks on properties.
· Schedule monthly walk-through with each client.
· Assist in training new and current crew members.
· Identify and create new enhancement opportunities on existing portfolio including
generating proposals.
· Schedule and supervise subcontractors that may be present onsite.
· Regularly communicate with Maintenance Manager regarding status of projects.
· Effective client concern resolution.
· Deliver an exceptional customer experience.
. Approve daily and weekly crew timecards via BusyBusy app.
. Property manager’s direct point of contact for snow and ice management services.
. Participation in snow removal equipment logistics as well as operating snow and
ice management equipment as needed.
. Start time is 6:00 a.m.
. Saturdays may be required during peak season.
Skills Required:
- Account Manager Experience – 3 years min.
- Experience in landscape maintenance a must.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
· Ability to meet and exceed set enhancement goals and contract retention rate.
· Must possess strong decision making and conflict resolution skills.
· Knowledge of Spanish language a plus.
· Ability to work independently on a regular basis.
· Strong knowledge of local plant material.
· Strong knowledge of Mid-Atlantic maintenance practices.
· Have a Working knowledge of irrigation systems.
· Strong computer skills.
· Valid and clean driver’s license.
