Volta, a division of W-Industries, is an OEM manufacturer of low and medium voltage products, and enclosures (i.e. PDC, e-houses, LERs) for the Energy, Industrial, and Technology markets. Our expertise encompasses the engineering, design, fabrication, assembly, integration, and after-market services of electrical distribution equipment.This position will consist of identifying and generating sales opportunities while driving the sales of products, systems, and services to customers in the data center and adjacent power generation markets including utilities. Candidate will have a confirmed working history that demonstrates a solid understanding of the data center market; its players, decision making process, and trends together with a proven track record in sales for that industry. Knowledge of electrical products and systems is desired but not required. Requirements Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the data center and mission critical power generation markets.Gain an in-depth understanding of key customers' organization and facilitate introductions to Volta's leadership and engineering.Represent and promote Volta's products and solutions in industry events and industry groups.Work with estimating and engineering to develop custom and advantageous electrical distribution solutions to the target market.This includes power generation and distribution packages w / o partners.Prepare and deliver promotional / marketing material intended for the target market.Stay abreast of new technological developments / releases and apply to projects and processes when beneficial.Provide status and progress reports of active pursuits and historical performance for management. Required Skills & CompetenciesDemonstrated ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships with data center owners, operators, and providers of mission critical power generation to that market.In-depth knowledge of the mission critical power infrastructure surrounding and supporting data centers.Familiarity with industry regulatory requirements and future mandates.Organizational skills including, but not limited to, the ability to handle multiple demands and assignments, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently.Good knowledge in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.Good verbal and written communication skills including, but not limited to, listening effectively and soliciting input from others.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk, long hours on computer keyboard. Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking.Some lifting (up to 30 lbs.).Frequent travel within the US.Required Experience & Education 8 years of experience in the data center and / or mission critical power generation markets or 5 years of Technical Sales experience.
