W-Industries is an energy service company that specializes in Automation Solutions, I&E Construction Services, Power Generation and Packaged Equipment for the Energy and Industrial markets. Our expertise encompasses the full spectrum of system technologies from pneumatic - hydraulic control systems to state-of-the-art programmable solutions to chemical injection systems, and everything in-between.

W-Industries is looking for a dedicated, full-time New Construction HVAC Install Apprentice. In this role, you will receive hands-on training and have the opportunity to work alongside skilled and experienced HVAC Installers.

Requirements :

Support the Lead Installer in the efficient and accurate installation of HVAC systems.
Build strong customer relationships to ensure the highest level of satisfaction.
Install, repair, and maintain commercial air conditioning systems.
Perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and repair issues with commercial air conditioning systems.

Skill Requirements

General HVAC experience (commercial)

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to adapt and learn new systems

Building Automation System experience helpful.

Ability to handle physical workload.

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Education & Experience

1 year of experience installing split systems, package units, ductless systems, ductwork, dehumidifiers, indoor air quality products, and zoning systems.

A High School Diploma or equivalent, or certificate of completion from an accredited technical school is required.

MUST BE ENROLLED IN A STATE APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

Ability to reach with arms and use tools above / over the head.

Ability to perform repetitive movements.

Ability to stand (for extended periods of time), walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.

Ability to sit, balance and climb ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.

Ability to move in and around confined and cluttered places and uneven areas.

Ability to work up to a 12-hour shift in all weather and temperature extremes.
