Job Summary
W& L is looking for a candidate that can thrive in a demanding and fast paced environment. The Express Lube Technician is responsible for performing minor maintenance services and inspections on vehicles in a quick thorough manner, as assigned; and in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and standards. As a Lube Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that vehicles receive timely oil changes and routine maintenance, contributing to the overall safety and performance of our customers' vehicles.
Duties
- Conducts oil changes, tire rotations and repair.
- Performs routine transmission fluid flushes, windshield wiper fluid changes, and other fluid-related services.
- Conducts battery testing
- Conducts vehicle multi-point inspections.
- Performs routine maintenance at the manufacturer’s designated standard.
- Diagnoses existing issues and consults with lead technicians to address vehicles issues.
- Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventative maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.
- Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives, adjusting controls and systems.
- Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs.
- Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair or service, preferably in a dealership setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform heavy lifting as required.
- Familiarity with oil change procedures and tire service techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all tasks performed.
- Prior experience with automotive diagnostics is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:
- Automotive: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- PA State Inspection License (Preferred)
