As a Refrigeration Technician at W. Lee Flowers, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Installing and replacing compressors and cases in new and remodeled stores
- Maintaining optimal refrigerator temperatures and pressures
- Performing mechanical repairs, including washing condensers and cases, welding, HVAC, plumbing, and refrigerant leak detection
- Driving the service van to various locations
- Assisting with other duties assigned by your supervisor
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A valid driver's license and good driving record
- Familiarity with hand tools, gauges, pressure washers, torches, and meters
- 2-4 years of commercial refrigeration experience, preferably in the supermarket industry
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- The ability to climb ladders 6-24 feet and maintain balance when necessary
- The ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds consistently
