Pricing Technician
As a key member of the W. Lee Flowers team, you will play a critical role in ensuring pricing integrity across all item files, tags, talkers, signs, and ads. You will also be responsible for verifying and keying relevant cost information into the pricing system.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as the primary point of contact for stores (management, scanning coordinators, DSD receivers) for any pricing, scanning, receiving, billing, sign, tag, or ad issue in any department; received through various channels.
- Completes actions to correct issues and notifies appropriate personnel of any corrections requiring store action.
- Creates offers and imports deals/offers from Aptaris to the pricing system; verifying allowances, lump sums, items in product groups, dates, sale retails, for all departments or category managers as assigned by manager.
- Keys deals, retails, or sale retails in the pricing system directly as needed.
- Works with the Fresh department to ensure accurate pricing, new item integration, and monthly updates in InterScale, coordinating communication and testing of complex promotional data to Appcard personnel.
- Provides administrative support related to pricing, promotion, and authorization of items for category managers.
- Collaborates with category managers to resolve overlapping promotions and maintain pricing link groups.
- Cross-trained on all systems used in the Pricing Department.
- Updates office knowledge daily and tests promotions as needed.
- Acts as backup for 1-2 other pricing technicians, familiar with their categories and duties.
