Retail Pricing Analyst

Role Overview

This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate pricing integrity across our organization, ensuring seamless interactions between various departments and external partners.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Act as the central point of contact for store management, scanning coordinators, and DSD receivers, addressing pricing, scanning, receiving, billing, sign, tag, or ad issues promptly.
2. Create offers and import deals/offers from Aptaris into our pricing system, carefully verifying details such as allowances, lump sums, items in product groups, dates, sale retails, and categories assigned by the manager.
3. Enter deals, retails, or sale retails directly into the pricing system when necessary.
4. Maintain precise pricing data for the Fresh department, new items, and sale retails in InterScale on a recurring basis, creating events, troubleshooting issues, and communicating with Appcard personnel.
5. Review and collaborate on weekly ads, special flyers, etc., with category managers to ensure accurate and timely updates within deadlines.
6. Test and coordinate complex promotional data with Appcard personnel.
7. Provide essential administrative support related to pricing, promotions, and authorization of items for category managers.
8. Resolve overlapping promotion conflicts with category managers.
9. Maintain and update pricing link groups with category managers.
10. Cross-train on all systems used in the Pricing Department.
11. Daily updates and testing of promotions as required.
12. Support and back up 1-2 other pricing technicians, familiarizing themselves with their categories and duties.
13. Complete assigned special projects.
