You'll work directly with end users and electrical contractors, forging new relationships and driving results in a competitive, fast-paced market.
W&M Fire Protection is a full-service fire protection contractor with complete design, installation, and fabrication capability. W&M has proudly served the tri-state and New England areas for over 30 years and offers a challenging and rewarding work environment. Due to continued growth, we are actively looking for a Sales Executive to join our team in Plantsville, CT.
Job Responsibilities :
- Proactively Hunt for Opportunities : Identify and pursue new opportunities to install or upgrade fire alarm systems across various sectors.
- Build Strategic Relationships : Develop and strengthen partnerships with electrical contractors and establish direct connections with end users to secure new projects.
- Bid Development : Lead the preparation and presentation of competitive bids for "parts & smarts" fire alarm work, including performing detailed "take offs" on plans to ensure accuracy.
- Project Oversight : Manage all aspects of fire alarm projects from concept to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and financial targets are achieved.
- Compliance and Standards : Ensure all projects meet relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA 72) and align with client specifications.
- Collaborate Across Teams : Coordinate with design, engineering, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Client Engagement : Serve as the primary point of contact for both electrical contractors and end users, ensuring clear communication and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Performance Tracking : Maintain accurate records of sales activities, project pipelines, and financial performance to report to the A&D Department Leader.
- Other Responsibilities : Perform additional tasks as needed to support department and branch success.
