Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer is embedded with operations, working cross functionally with the maintenance supervisor, process engineer and production engineers. The Maintenance and Reliability team is responsible for providing world-class asset availability enabling our plant to deliver products to customers safely, within specifications, and on time.
The Maintenance Engineer is on-site in Curtis Bay, Baltimore, MD and reports to the Maintenance and Reliability leader.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage equipment maintenance plans for area equipment.
Update Preventative Maintenance Plan (PM), Condition Monitoring Routes in SAP
Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)/Failure Mode Elimination Analysis (FMEA)
Assist with emergencies and unplanned breakdowns
Identify critical spares and recommended spare parts inventory levels
Identify and scope potential reliability improvement projects
Contribute to maintenance planning and execution for outages. Participate in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
3+ years Maintenance/Engineering experience in a process manufacturing environment
24/7 Manufacturing experience
Computer proficiency with Microsoft 365
Experience in Food, Heavy Industry and/or Chemical manufacturing using pumps, grinders, rotary equipment, or dryers
Physical Requirements and Environment
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs and ladders over 100 ft.
Ability to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.
Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using SAP Preventative Maintenance module
Experience with Engineering codes and standards such as ASME, API, ANSI, etc.
Experience interpretating condition monitoring findings from various tools such as Vibration Analysis, Ultrasound, Oil Analysis and Infrared Thermography
Salary : $62,000 - $92,000
