POSITION SUMMARY:
Overall business ownership for developing, implementing, overseeing, operating and supporting a software component of the company’s transformation into a Digital Inventory Services (DIS) company. Develop architectural plans & core functionality process map, lead software development efforts, coordinate development with the vendor and be an integral part of the implementation of the digital strategy and core digital product.

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, skills, work experience and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus. An incentive bonus, if any, depends on various factors such as organizational performance.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and all other duties assigned:
- Liaise with Würth IT to ensure constant availability & functionality of the software platform for all user roles
- Liaise with Würth IT to develop and maintain digital infrastructure required for the Digital Inventory Service and ensure required levels of user and customer support.
- Perform as an integral resource and digital leader for all parts of the organization to ensure that the transition to digital technologies is smooth and successful.
- Maintain connectivity of hardware & accessibility of software through customer networks.
- Liaise with third-party software development vendors to ensure quality and timely deliverable of the product features within the scope of the architectural plan.
- Develop and implement Cyber-Security strategy for the digital products, services, and infrastructure.
- Liaise with 3D printer OEMs as the focal point, ensuring timely and quality DIS hardware integration.
- Support the sales team on customer calls, engagements, and line walks.
- Support the sales team on Trade Shows and Demo-Days with planning and execution tasks.
- B.S. Degree in Software Development or Computer Science
- Experience in the IoT (Internet of Things) technologies, preferably within the Manufacturing Digital Thread implementation and / or Additive Manufacturing.
- 5 years of experience in IT, software development, or Digital leadership roles.
- Ability to understand and immerse in software product on a code level to achieve and maintain operational and knowledge independence from 3rd party developers.
- Deep knowledge of cloud computing and solution development.
- Strategic thinking and digital roadmap development expertise.
- Effective interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to deal with ambiguity and change.
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
- Have hands-on experience working in a lab/plant/manufacturing environment.

Salary : $140,000 - $150,000
