Senior Service Engineer – Instrumentation and Controls, Energy Business
The Wärtsilä Energy Business – North Region team has a vacancy for a Senior Service Engineer – Instrumentation and Controls .
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Solve technical and operational problems at our customer power plants.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities according to maintenance programs.
- Support New Build and Commissioning teams on projects delivery.
- Prepare service work reports and other relevant documentation related to site or customer visits.
- Manage and maintain good relationships with the customer during work execution.
- Take ownership of technical discussions and be the point of contact between internal and external stakeholders during service execution.
- Be able to travel to our customer facilities for service attendance within Canada, US and the Caribbean.
- Be on service jobs about 80% of the year.

Travel Requirements : This position requires a 70% travel commitment, encompassing both domestic and international, including onshore and offshore locations. The role demands adaptability to varying travel demands, with an expectation of extended periods away from the primary work location. Prospective candidates should be prepared to fulfill these travel obligations as an integral aspect of the position's responsibilities.
