Area Manager - Janitorial / Riverside/San Bernardino, CA

W Services Group, a leading North American Facilities Management organization is looking for an Area Manager to manage retail locations that we service in the California (Riverside/San Bernardino) area. The Area Manager must have their own transportation. We have a generous reimbursement program to cover mileage expenses plus a fuel card. The ideal candidates will assist with training, monitoring and inspect cleanliness to ensure that the client's scope of work is being adequately carried out. This position will also be responsible to manage an established vendor base janitorial crews.

Area Manager Requirements:

*Must be able to work independently with little supervision - must have experience with janitorial machinery & procedures.

*Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

*Available to work weekends and some evenings depending when services are scheduled (our services are before the location opens and after it closes. They will need to be onsite with the crews during training and to spot check their work.)

*Have own transportation, valid drivers license and acceptable automobile insurance

*Positive and out-going personality; a good relationship developer

*Must be knowledgeable in regards to janitorial equipment such as an auto scrubber, buffer, side by side slow speed and high-speed burnisher.

*MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook

Area Manager Responsibilities:

* Supervise vendor and self-performed services within your territory.

* Assist with on-boarding and training of employees/vendors.

* Ability to work in proprietary windows based software to manage their calendar, update notes, upload surveys and manage any open tasks

* To work on services, reinforcing and continuing to educate our self-perform and vendor staff.

* Communicates with our Corporate Office , Area Managers and/or Directors daily.

* Ability to communicate (orally & written) with Location Managers and their Corporate Office Teams

* The completion of a pre-set visitation and inspection program monthly.

* Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

* Sanding experience preferred.

* Only candidates who have cleaning supervisory experience may apply.
