Overview
We are looking for a Highly motivated Operations Manager for our Ciudad Juarez Manufacturing facility to drive continuous improvement and optimization of all processes. The Operations Manager will oversee all daily operations of the plant to ensure policies and procedures are followed. Responsible for developing processes that will maximize productivity, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities
· Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
· Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results on production output, product quality and on-time shipping.
· Achieve Manufacturing goals by managing productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
· Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime.
· Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
Qualifications
· Lean Manufacturing / Sig sigma experience required.
. Proven work experience is required.
· Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources).
· Be knowledgeable of finances, safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, and inventory processes.
· Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
· Strong team building, demonstrated decision-making and people management skills.
· BS degree in Business Management or related field is required.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Fully Bilingual English/Spanish required.
Must be hands on.
