Job description

Functional Responsibilities:
- Supports the organization transformation based on lean principles such as SIPOC approach, lean manufacturing disciplines, 5’s, PDCA, Error proofing, etc.
- Develops strategies to optimized workflow and eliminate waste
- Validates analytical models to develop value stream mapping by individual process.
- Evaluates resource requirements necessary to implement the site transformation program (Across all locations).
- Identify opportunities for improvement and initiate project and/or action plan
- Prepares documentation such as (but not limited) to process flow diagrams, working instructions, SOP etc. maintaining an easily accessible data base.
- Creation, update and ensure execution of processes
- Trains key team members on proper work methods based on each analysis.
- Follows up and Audits on a regular basis to ensure agreed upon processes are being maintained.
- Ensures key program implementation milestones are understood, communicated, and aligned.
- Responsible of basic analysis actions such as: production data collection and process analysis, spreadsheet modelling and analysis
- Support and participation in continuous improvement or Kaizen projects -Time/motion studies -Focus on all waste of motion reduction.
- Responsible of process standardization alignment across all locations.
- Implement change: Lead cross-functional teams to implement improvement initiatives
- Foster a culture of change: Promote a culture of innovation and efficiency
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or any related discipline of engineering
- 5 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing disciplines and tools, problem resolution, and continued development
- Experience in an Industrial and/or Manufacturing environment
- Knowledgeable with software programs supporting KPIs,
Six Sigma, Process Mapping, and data analysis tools
- Proficient in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) desired
- Will be based out of our Santa Teresa, NM facility and will require flexibility to travel to other locations is necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
