We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, precision measuring instruments, and the ability to read blueprints. The Mill Operator will play a crucial role in our production line, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of our products.
Responsibilities
- Operate milling machines and equipment to produce parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining operations.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Assemble components as required, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
- Maintain tooling and equipment in good working condition, performing routine maintenance as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and resolve any issues that arise.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
Requirements
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience with logic controllers and their application in milling operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is a plus.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently is desirable.
- Knowledge of stamping press operations is beneficial.
- Experience with tooling setup and adjustments for various machining tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $19.20 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 42 per week
