Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Cabinet Vision Draftsman / Project engineer with company located in West Haven, CT, with flexibility for some remote work. The Cabinet Vision Draftsman will be responsible for preliminary shop drawings, field verifications, preparation of submittal documents. The candidate will be responsible for engineering of our projects in collaboration with the owner and shop. Designing the custom cabinetry to ensure the fit of all appliances and cabinet accessories.
There will be some project coordination and production management as well as procurement duties.
Qualifications
Space Planning and Architecture skills
Construction Drawings and Interior Design skills
Furniture Fixtures & Equipment knowledge
Experience in cabinet design and drafting
Proficiency in Cabinet Vision software
Knowledge of woodworking and materials
Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Relevant certification or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
