Client is seeking an experienced AutoCAD Designer to join our Civil / Site Engineering team. The right candidate for this position will bring technical knowledge and a driven work ethic to add to our team by providing exceptional client service and a professional work product.

Key responsibilities for this position include the following :

Conceptual Plan Preparation;

Construction Document Preparation from preliminary through final design, including Preliminary Plan / Plat, Horizontal Control, Grading, Utilities, Profiles and General Notes and Details;

Construction Document organization and file management from beginning to end with limited supervision;

Quality Control of Construction Document Packages;

Vehicle Tracking Analysis; and

Upkeep and adherence with company CAD Standard

Relevant Experience Required includes the following :

Proficient in AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) with skills including grading, stormwater and utility pipe networks and profiles;

4 years of experience in public and / or private work such as roads, water and sewer projects, and site infrastructure;

Conceptual Plan Preparation;

Managing multiple drawings and projects at the same time;

Understanding of complex engineering plans and specifications prepared by others;

Strong problem-solving skills;

Strong verbal and written communication skills;

Developing Construction Documents for Land Development projects from conceptual through final design; and

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment;

Effective communication skills
