Position Overview :
We are seeking a talented and experienced CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with the design and production of drawings for a variety of water, wastewater, stormwater, and site development projects. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD design, preferably within the water and wastewater industry.
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to produce accurate and detailed CAD drawings for water, wastewater, stormwater, and site development projects.
Assist in the development and implementation of design concepts and plans.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications.
Conduct site visits and gather relevant data for design purposes.
Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
Utilize CAD software and related tools effectively to create high-quality drawings and documentation.
Coordinate with other team members to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
Education / Experience :
2-year Technical or Vocational School, CAD Design Certificate, Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD design, with a focus on water and wastewater projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and design standards.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines governing water and wastewater infrastructure design is desirable.
Experience with site development projects is a plus.
