Overview
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Pilots to join our team (Full-Time / 1099 Roles).
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of aviation operations, safety protocols, and regulations.
Furthermore, candidates need a military pilot background that meets the criteria below.
This role requires exceptional leadership capabilities and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
As a Pilot, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft while adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations, federal contracting guidelines, and company policies.
Responsibilities
Operate aircraft in compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards.
Conduct pre-flight inspections to ensure aircraft readiness and safety.
Plan flight routes, considering weather conditions, air traffic, and other factors.
Communicate effectively with air traffic control and ground personnel.
Monitor flight instruments and systems throughout the duration of the flight.
Lead and supervise crew members to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
Maintain accurate flight logs and reports as required by regulatory agencies.
Provide exceptional customer service to supported units during flights.
Skills
Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish or other languages is a plus for multilingual communication.
Strong organizational skills to manage flight schedules, documentation, and crew coordination.
Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) operations is advantageous.
Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide crew members effectively.
In-depth knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) related to aviation operations.
Strong data analysis skills for evaluating flight performance metrics.
Solid mathematical skills for navigation calculations and fuel management.
Minimum Requirements to Apply
Shall be citizen of the United States. No foreign nationals permitted.
500 hours total tactical aircraft time
Current in Armed Forces Reserve or Guard status
DoD Retired or Separated with 1000 hours tactical aircraft time
DoD Retired or Separated with 1300 hours total time (PIC / IP / SEFE in F / A / T-fixed wing and / or rotary wing aircraft) with 300 hours tactical aircraft time.
All pilot candidates should have at least 100 hours of dedicated Close Air Support training or deployment time in support of that mission set.
Section Lead qualified.
Recency of last tactical flight at or within last 5 years.
Minimum Requirements are waiver able if member has or is currently on another contract serving the Close Air Support mission set.
If no previous contract Close Air Support work, above criteria is waiver able up to 10% or more based on military crewmember experience.
Travel and Per Diem are paid in full by company.
