Firm is rapidly growing litigation and trial firm looking for a sharp and highly driven litigator for its plaintiff's side labor and employment practice, and specifically wage and hour, PAGA, and class actions. We are dedicated to advocating for employees' rights and have a proven track record of successfully handling complex employment disputes. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Class Action Attorney to join the team. The Ideal candidate will have experience in managing class action lawsuits, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and effectively communication with clients.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in class action litigation, preferably in employment law.
Key Responsibilities :
Case Management : Assist in managing class action cases from inception through resolution, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing for depositions and trials.
Client Communication : Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and resolving any issues related to their cases.
Legal Research and Writing : Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
Discovery : Assist in all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, and preparing for depositions.
Court Appearances : Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
Skills :
Strong understanding of class action procedures and litigation processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Proficient in legal research and writing.
Firm offers a highly competitive salary based on experience and qualifications, percentage based bonuses, health insurance, 401K, paid vacations, parking and other benefits. COVID-19 considerations : Vaccinations, PPE and plastic barriers.
Total compensation is $150,000-$200,000 (base salary discretionary bonus); base salary is 150-180k). We are looking for stable resumes and employment law experience. This position may be hybrid / remote depending on the candidate's background / experience and location.
