What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Programmer / CAD Technician position at W3Global Inc.?
Job Summary
We are seeking a CNC programmer for a Milltronics 4 axis CNC mill and a Mitsubishi wire EDM machine using SolidCAM software. Job consists of programming new parts, designing and building fixturing as well as updating tool paths on existing programs. Ideal candidates must be able to read and interpret technical blueprints, along with creating and editing 3D models inside of Solidworks. Must be able to adjust machine settings to maintain part tolerances in accordance with the print. The ideal candidate would also be able to operate, program, setup and maintain machines in addition to CAD modeling and print drafting to be sent out to vendors.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or in a similar role or education experience.- Strong understanding of CNC machining and CAD software.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments and coordinate measuring machines.- Knowledge of GD&T principles and lean manufacturing practices.
- Experience with SolidCAM and Solidworks software.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
