CNC Programmer

Position Summary:

The CNC Programmer is responsible to provide error free CNC machine programs to the manufacturing floor. Also, they will support the floor in troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the run. The programmer will also understand and call out the proper tooling and fixturing required for each operation. Wage negotiable depending on experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years fulltime CAD/CAM programming experience, with proficiency in MasterCam preferred.

Experience with Solid Works is preferred.

In-Depth knowledge of Lathe and Mill processes, including multi-axis applications. "preferrably milling"

Fluency in using industry standard- controllers such as Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhain.

Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow employees and external customers to resolve issues and meet requirements.

Developing CAD drawings of machined parts and fixtures.

Retrieve and interface with customer concerning electronic file transfer

Will be involved with the definition of production methods and process definition;

Product value engineering;

Ensure "low cost manufacturability" of all products

Must be comfortable in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

Working knowledge of MS word, excel and other software applications

Speak, read and write fluent English

Job Type: Full-time
