Hybrid opportunity available based on experience and after initial onboarding. This is a hybrid position with some days in office each week mandatory as we are a main street agency and direct, personal customer interaction is common.

Responsibilities
Demonstrate active listening, rapport building, empathy and solutions-focused problem solving when engaging with customers
Prospect, develop, and maintain new business relationships by identifying and targeting potential clients.
Effectively identifying other needs in client conversations so we can connect with our other departments to assist (i.e.: Life, Benefits, Business)
Meet or exceed sales targets by actively generating leads and closing new business deals.
Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to identify business opportunities.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, rare night/weekend may be required.
Requirements
Experience in outside sales or business development and proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Working knowledge of Applied Epic a plus
Working knowledge of all personal lines insurance, insurance agency operations, coverages, rates, markets and applicable insurance laws/codes/regulations
Exceptional interpersonal skills--self-managed, proactive, ability to multi-task, organized, emotional intelligence and self-awareness, team player
Friendly, positive, helpful, client-focused and professional attitude with ability to maintain professionalism and positivity in a fast-paced environment
Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
