The client is seeking Construction Quality Control Engineers who have a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced field. Our team members must be able to work well with others and work through complex technical details in a challenging construction job site environment.
Construction Quality Control Engineer - Daily Life
Inspection and documentation of construction work including heavy civil, structural, industrial, mechanical, electrical and more.
Frequent communication with project management personnel, construction trades, subcontractors, third party testing agencies, and Owner and Engineer personnel, to ensure quality construction in accordance with the plans and specifications.
Thorough comprehension and understanding of detailed technical drawings, specifications, codes and standards.
Training, development, and mentoring of Co-ops, and Interns. Willingness to continually learn and develop.
Support Project Team in other tasks as assigned.
Reports to Quality Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
BS in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Construction Engineering or related field or experience.
NACE Level 2 Coatings Inspector Qualifications required.
Experience working successfully on Construction teams.
Previous experience in Water Infrastructure or Heavy Civil Construction is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience or strong interest in construction quality control and quality assurance.
