Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Direct and oversee on-site construction activities to ensure project schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate project plans and resolve issues.
Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers, ensuring proper execution of work and adherence to safety protocols.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety and building regulations.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of milestones.
Prepare and submit daily or weekly progress reports, documenting any challenges or changes to project scope.
Enforce company and regulatory safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Handle on-site troubleshooting, problem-solving, and conflict resolution as needed.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
Proficiency in scheduling software, construction management tools, and Microsoft Office.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various project sites as needed.
Schedule :
Full-time, Monday to Friday
