Drafter/Project Engineer

Job Overview:

• Review architectural drawings and specifications to create clear, buildable shop drawings with all material and hardware details.

• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting, prioritizing tasks based on schedules.

• Provide regular progress updates, including estimates for task completion.

• Solve engineering challenges with practical solutions.

• Communicate with project managers about fabrication details.

• Keep up with MRW fabrication standards to ensure accurate drawings.

• Submit drawings for approval to architects and contractors.

• Make corrections based on feedback from project managers and engineers.

• Prepare construction drawings and Microvellum products.

• Answer shop floor questions and provide additional details or full-scale plots when needed.

• Issue revised drawings when changes are required.
