Job Summary : -
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in using various diagnostic tools.
This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Responsibilities : -
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment.
Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools, including ohmmeters, and implement necessary repairs.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve system designs and enhance operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance tasks.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery as required.
Experience & Qualifications
Basic Experience (Required) : -
Minimum 2 years of experience in the food and beverage industry.
Understanding of batching systems or carbo coolers.
Familiarity with filling equipment for cans or bottles.
Experience with seaming or capping processes.
Knowledge of warmers or pasteurizers.
Exposure to packaging systems, including trays, cartons, wrappers, and palletizers.
Hands-on experience with conveyor systems.
Understanding of general utilities, such as boilers, RO water systems, glycol chillers, and air compressors.
General knowledge of industrial environments and utilities.
Preferred Experience (Desired) : -
Hands-on experience with batching equipment or carbo coolers.
Proficiency in can or bottle filling (e.g., Bevcorp, Crown, or similar equipment).
Experience with seaming or capping using Angelus seamers, Delta cappers, or similar.
Knowledge of warmers or pasteurizers (e.g., Bevco or equivalent systems).
Familiarity with packaging equipment such as Jones, KHS, or similar packers and wrappers.
Electrical knowledge, including 3-phase motors, VFDs, and servos.
Experience with PLC and HMI systems.
Exposure to palletizing systems (e.g., Alvey, Columbia, or similar).
Strong understanding of boilers, RO water systems, glycol chillers, and air compressors.
