Job Title: Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA)
Location: Fall River, MA
Position Overview:
We are seeking an Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our collaborative and dynamic Endocrinology Division. This office-based position is ideal for an experienced or motivated individual who is committed to delivering exceptional care in diabetes management, thyroid conditions, and other endocrinological disorders. You will work alongside a team of Fellowship-trained physicians and other advanced practice providers, supported by a strong Primary Care referral base in southeast Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide office-based care for diabetic and general endocrinology patients under the supervision of a physician.
Conduct diabetic teaching, initiate and manage oral/insulin therapy, and handle both hyperglycemic and hypoglycemic states.
Manage chronic diabetes care and thyroid conditions, utilizing the latest technologies including continuous glucose monitoring (CGM).
Manage less common endocrine diseases such as adrenal, hypothalamic/pituitary, parathyroid, and hypogonadism when necessary.
Participate in a comprehensive weight management program, osteoporosis management, Men's and Women's Health, and a Thyroid Center offering ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration.
Utilize the electronic medical record system (eClinicalWorks), which integrates with local hospital systems.
Schedule and Work Environment:
Standard workweek consists of four days in the office, with the fifth day dedicated to administrative tasks, which can be performed remotely.
No nights, weekends, holidays, or hospital duties.

Qualifications:
Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with experience or interest in Endocrinology.
Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with advancements in endocrinology and diabetes management.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
