Our client, one of New York's premier law firms specializing in Estate Planning, Elder Law, Trust & Estate Administration, Medicaid Planning, Business and Tax Planning, Estate & Trust Litigation, and Special Needs Planning, is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney for their Albany, NY office.
Key Responsibilities :
Analyze complex legal issues related to estate planning and provide strategic recommendations.
Draft and review legal documents, including wills, trusts (e.g., Revocable Living Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, Medicaid Asset Protection Trusts), and other estate planning instruments.
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and present documents for review and execution.
Address client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal estate planning laws.
Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to streamline workflow and ensure efficient case management.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and an active license to practice law in New York State.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
