Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to support our construction projects by delivering accurate cost estimates. This critical role demands strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of construction management, and exceptional negotiation abilities. You will collaborate closely with project managers and key stakeholders to ensure cost estimates align with project objectives and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor, and overhead for hospitality renovation projects.
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documents to prepare comprehensive estimates.
Work alongside project managers to evaluate project requirements and create accurate cost projections.
Utilize industry-standard estimating software such as PlanSwift and MS Project to produce precise reports.
Conduct on-site visits to assess conditions impacting project costs.
Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring favorable pricing and terms.
Track and monitor project expenses, ensuring budget compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain well-organized records of estimates, contracts, and project-related correspondence.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction estimating, preferably in hospitality renovation projects.
Strong understanding of construction management principles and best practices.
Proficiency in estimating software ( PlanSwift , MS Project ) is highly preferred.
Exceptional analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus.
Outstanding organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required.
