Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our team. This is a new role within the company, and you will be responsible for handling electric controls and panel boxes for PLCs and standard control systems. You will troubleshoot general electronic and mechanical control issues, as well as repair various types of control valves, gearboxes, and turbos across a range of equipment. Additionally, candidates should be capable of drawing latching circuits.
This position offers the opportunity to work on-site, with a company vehicle, gas card, and cell phone provided. You will be working directly in the field and will collaborate with a team that values experience and expertise in water pump systems.
Key Responsibilities :
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electric controls and panel boxes for PLCs and standard control systems.
Diagnose and resolve electronic and mechanical control issues.
Repair and maintain different types of control valves, gearboxes, and turbos on a variety of equipment.
Draw and interpret latching circuits for control systems.
Work independently and as part of a team to meet project and maintenance goals.
Provide top-quality customer service while representing the company in the field.
Qualifications :
Experience working with electric controls and panel boxes for PLCs and standard control systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills in general electronics and mechanical control systems.
Hands-on experience repairing control valves, gearboxes, and turbos.
Ability to draw and understand latching circuits.
Experience in the water pump industry is a significant advantage.
Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with team members and clients.
Compensation & Benefits :
Hourly wage range : $30 - $36 per hour (flexible depending on experience).
