Job Description:
We are seeking a self-motivated and driven individual to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for independently scheduling and completing tasks with minimal supervision. A solid understanding of fire alarm systems and up-to-date knowledge of state fire alarm codes is essential. In addition to fire alarm system work, you will also be involved in the installation of security systems and monitoring panels, including burglar alarms, access control, and CCTV. You will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts with over 25 years of experience, as well as grow within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
Install new fire alarm systems and retrofit existing properties.
Install security systems such as burglar alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
Install monitoring panels for various systems.
Program new or existing fire alarm systems.
Troubleshoot fire alarm components, devices, and wiring, including open circuits, short circuits, and ground faults.
Conduct fire alarm system testing to ensure compliance with current state fire codes.
Schedule and coordinate installation and testing work.
Perform site walks for current or prospective clients.
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in the fire alarm and security system field.
State of Hawaii Fire Alarm System Level 2 certification.
In-depth understanding of Hawaii's current fire alarm codes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings.
Advanced troubleshooting skills.
Strong customer service abilities.
Highly organized with excellent communication skills.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to obtain government security clearance.
Availability for on-call shifts as needed.
